We're scaling Relay, our dedicated delivery fleet, and need an experienced operations leader to own day-to-day execution. The RoleWe're hiring a Relay Operations Manager/Coordinator to support the operational execution of rider supply, live operations, and support coordination. You'll be the operational backbone—ensuring daily operations run consistently across critical workflows, building sustainable processes, and acting as the primary point of contact between sourcing, onboarding, live operations, CX, and leadership.You'll operate with high autonomy, make decisions within established frameworks, and proactively identify and solve problems before they escalate. The Operations Manager sets strategy and priorities; you ensure flawless execution and surface insights that drive continuous improvement. What You'll OwnRider Supply & Activation- Own end-to-end sourcing execution across recruiting channels- Manage applicant pipeline from screening through onboarding to first completed shift- Ensure activation flow runs smoothly and proactively identify bottlenecks Rider Pay & Incentive Execution- Execute rider pay and bonus strategies as defined by Operations Manager- Ensure all payments are processed accurately and on schedule across locations- Monitor spend against budget and track incentive effectiveness Live Operations & Team Supervision- Supervise Live Operations and Support teams to ensure SOP compliance and quality standards- Monitor real-time performance metrics and step in to solve issues proactively- Build and maintain operational trackers, identify trends, and drive process improvements Operational Execution & Problem-Solving- Ensure daily operational execution is flawless across all critical workflows- Act as the operational connector across sourcing, onboarding, live ops, CX, and reporting- Own playbook execution during weather events, market disruptions, and high-volume periods- Provide real-time coverage during critical windows Reporting & Continuous Improvement- Deliver weekly operational performance summaries with actionable insights- Maintain incident logs, escalation summaries, and post-mortem documentation- Proactively recommend process improvements based on operational patterns What We're Looking ForRequired:- 5+ years in operations, logistics, or delivery/gig economy platforms with demonstrated ability to run execution independently- Team supervision experience with ability to drive accountability- Financial accuracy handling payments or incentives at scale- Problem-solver who sees what's broken and fixes it proactively- Strong operational rigor with attention to detail- Bilingual fluency (English/Spanish)- High ownership mentality Preferred:- Experience with rider/driver operations, supply planning, or on-demand logistics- Familiarity with gig economy platforms- Comfort with data analysis and reporting tools- Experience working with US-based teams across time zones This Role Is NOT For You If:- You need heavy supervision or detailed task lists to operate- You require strict 9-5 hours with limited flexibility- You're early in your career and still building operational fundamentals What We Offer- Competitive compensation- Fully remote position- Direct operational leadership role with high impact- Autonomy within clear strategic frameworks How to ApplySend an email to julio@deliveryrelay.com with your resume along with a brief explanation of:1.
