We are a startup team within Papaya Gaming, a successful and established gaming company.

Our unit runs with full startup energy and agility, while benefiting from the stability and resources of Papaya. We’re building a social gaming platform – where games, challenges, and community come together in one engaging experience.

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager, someone who owns a domain end-to-end: product, UX, economy, data, strategy, and execution.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys:

  • Thinking in systems, not just features
  • Working closely with design, engineering, and marketing

  • Moving fast while maintaining a high bar for quality
  • Using AI to significantly scale their impact

Responsibilities

  • Own a core domain (feed, challenges, tournaments, creator tools, economy)
  • Define product strategy, vision, and roadmap
  • Translate ideas into clear PRDs, flows, and requirements
  • Lead execution from concept → launch → continuous optimization
  • Design and optimize the core loop: create → participate → compete → share → repeat
  • Build systems that drive: Retention, Engagement, Virality
  • Work closely with design on end-to-end user experience
  • Focus on clarity, simplicity, and strong product flows
  • Pay attention to details that improve usability and delight
  • Design reward systems, progression, and virtual economies
  • Balance monetization with fairness and user trust
  • Address challenges like liquidity, matchmaking, and fraud
  • Define KPIs and success metrics
  • Run experiments and analyze results
  • Use data to inform decisions while applying strong product intuition
  • • Partner closely with marketing on: Go-to-market strategy, Messaging & positioning, UA creatives and growth loops
  • • Ensure strong alignment between product experience and acquisition

• Use AI to significantly increase speed and quality across your workflow

• Build or leverage AI-driven processes for: Research & insights, Documentation and specs, Data analysis and reporting

• Think in terms of automation and scalable workflows, not manual work.

Requirements

• 4+ years in Product Management (consumer/mobile)

• Proven experience shipping products with impact on:

Engagement, Retention and Revenue

Product Thinking

  • Strong systems thinking (loops, not features)
  • Deep understanding of:
  • User behavior & motivation
  • Social mechanics & virality
  • Game mechanics & progression

Execution

  • Comfortable in fast-paced, 0→1 environments
  • Writes clear, structured specs (PRDs, flows, edge cases)
  • Works closely with design, engineering, and marketing
  • High ownership and accountability

Data & Technical

  • Strong analytical skills (SQL / Amplitude / Mixpanel or similar)
  • Comfortable working with engineers on APIs, backend systems, and mobile apps

Advantages:

  • Experience building B2C mobile apps
  • Strong advantage: experience in

  • Background in: Gaming / skill-based systems, Creator economy, Growth / monetization
  • Experience with: Virtual economies / LiveOps, Social feeds & ranking systems
  • Experience building AI workflows or automations
  • Passion for platforms like TikTok and Instagram, with a strong understanding of what makes them engaging
